The Island Health Fund has been established by Jersey Community Foundation to provide a dedicated way for individuals, families, businesses and charitable trusts to support projects that could transform health and wellbeing in Jersey.
The Fund will support initiatives that enhance and accelerate, rather than replace, publicly funded healthcare, bringing additional philanthropic investment into areas where it can make the greatest difference for Islanders.
Funding could support areas such as advanced medical equipment and technology, research and clinical innovation, enhanced patient facilities, community health initiatives, specialist training and pilot programmes testing new approaches to improving health outcomes.
How will funding decisions be made?
JCF is establishing a new independent Health Fund Panel to shape the Fund's priorities and decide how funding is awarded. The Panel will bring together a range of expertise and perspectives, including clinical and health expertise, philanthropy, governance and finance, alongside independent community representation.
Funding decisions will be informed by evidence of health need, public health data, patient and community insight, clinical expertise and Jersey's wider health priorities, helping to ensure philanthropic funding is directed where it can have the greatest impact.
Your giving can make a difference
