I am taking on this trek to raise funds for Dementia Jersey. Dementia is a cruel condition and, having watched close family members battle with it, I know the profound impact it has on the person diagnosed and on their loved ones.
Dementia Jersey undertakes remarkable work across our Island, providing practical guidance, specialist advice and essential support networks so that affected families don't have to navigate the journey alone.
A quick note on your donations:
Just to put your mind at ease, you are definitely not subsidising my enjoyment of a week's European holiday away from my kids. Participants cover all of their own costs, meaning every penny donated goes directly to Dementia Jersey to help local families and individuals when they need it most.
