About Antonia Rubio
Hi everyone,
This month I’ll be cutting my hair and donating it to The Little Princess Trust while raising funds for CLIC Sargent (Jersey).
CLIC supports babies, children, teenagers, and young adults up to the age of 25 who have been diagnosed with cancer, as well as their families during an incredibly difficult time.
All money raised will be donated to CLIC in memory of Alex, a young islander who sadly passed away last month at the age of 25.
I had the privilege of meeting Alex and his family through the charity after we were both diagnosed with cancer at the ages of 23 and 24.
My hope is that this fundraiser not only raises money, but also encourages conversations within the community about cancer in young people, including the signs and symptoms to look out for, the importance of early detection, and supporting those affected.
Every donation will go directly toward helping local families impacted by cancer, both financially and emotionally.

CLIC Sargent (Jersey) aims to ensure that every Jersey family who has a child or young person with cancer receives the support they need. We retain all the money we raise in the Island so that it can be spent solely on Jersey children and their families.
CLIC Sargent (Jersey) is an independent, local charity formed to ensure that every child and young person with cancer and their family receive the support they need. We offer financial and emotional support to anyone living on the Island who is diagnosed before their 21st birthday. We work alongside the multi-disciplinary team at the hospital and with other agencies to achieve this. We respond to the needs of the sick child and their family at a difficult and stressful time.
