About Kathy
SWIM. CLIMB. CONQUER.
This September, Kathy will join some of the world's top triathletes at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the French Riviera, this prestigious event will see Kathy take on the ultimate 70.3-mile challenge, consisting of a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run.
The race begins with a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea before athletes tackle the challenging bike course through the spectacular Alpes-Maritimes mountains, featuring dramatic climbs, thrilling descents, and breathtaking views. The final stage is a half marathon along Nice's iconic Promenade des Anglais, culminating in an unforgettable finish line in the heart of the city.
Kathy is taking on this incredible challenge in support of Jersey Hospice Care, a charity close to her heart, where she proudly serves as a Trustee.
Every donation will help Jersey Hospice Care continue providing compassionate, specialist care and support to Islanders and their families when they need it most.

Jersey Hospice Care
Jersey Hospice Care is the Island’s only hospice – providing specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting conditions. Services include the Specialist Palliative Care Team – who support people at home, in hospital, and in care homes, an In Patient Unit providing a home away from home, educational programmes, complementary therapy, emotional, spiritual and faith support, and community bereavement services. Jersey Hospice Care is an independent charity, providing all its services without a charge to patients. It costs £22,000 a day to run – funded mainly by the generosity of Islanders. This comes in the form of donations, fundraising, and sales in our charity shops, as well as through the outstanding work of the dedicated volunteers who give their time and skills to keep Hospice running.
