About Rock n Road Runners & Jersey Girls Run
Rock n Road Runners are teaming up with Jersey Girls Run for a 50/ 90min Sunday road run on 8 March 2026 in support of International Women's Day 2026.
The IWD 2026 Give To Gain Campaign encourages a mindset of generosity and collaboration which is why we have chosen to support FREEDA whose mission is to protect and empower women and prevent domestic abuse in our Island community.
Give To Gain emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organizations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it's intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise.
Both runs will be fully supported with Lead, Middle and Tail runners and everybody is welcome! Collaboration is key to advancing gender equality.
If you cannot attend but would still like to support then all donations, no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated.

FREEDA
At FREEDA we are dedicated and passionate about our mission to support you and prevent domestic abuse. Our skilled and professional team is always on hand to listen while pro-actively seeking solutions to ensure your safety, designing support plans around your individual needs and wishes.
Our inclusive and accessible person-centred services are delivered in a confidential, non-judgemental, kind and respectful manner. All our services are free of charge and we will not turn anyone escaping domestic abuse away due to financial constraints, housing or nationality.
Our safe house can help you and your children (girls and boys up to 18) for up to 6 months if you are fleeing from domestic abuse. Our trained staff are there to give you emotional and practical support.
