About Em and Ollie
This September, Emily and Ollie are taking on the JET Jaunt from St Malo to Rome, proudly sponsored by the Aztec Group.
Inspired by Race Across the World, the JET Jaunt is a race that sees teams of two racing from St Malo to Rome using nothing but public transport in order to raise money for the Jersey Employment Trust.
There will be checkpoints along the way, meaning teams will not know the route they will be taking until they arrive at the start line in France.
Emily has spent months travelling across Asia and can probably navigate a foreign train station, whereas Ollie once went to St Aubin without checking the bus timetable and considered it “a bit of a mission.”
The plan is simple:
Emily works out where they're supposed to be going.
Ollie brings the banter.
Neither of them has a nervous breakdown in an Italian train station.
Arrive in Rome before everyone else.
Will they make it to Rome in 3 days or will Ollie end up navigating them to Belgium?

The Jersey Employment Trust is a registered charity that supports Islanders who have a disability or long-term health condition secure and sustain work. Our social enterprise Acorn in Trinity also provides work and training opportunities.
Across the organisation, we support more than 500 people a year. More than half of our clients now report mental health issues as their primary disability.
