I’m originally from Ireland, but Jersey has been my home for the past 26 years. I work as an estate agent at Indigo Estates and, around five years ago, I went through a traumatic accident that still affects me to this day.

That period of my life taught me just how important support can be.

I was incredibly fortunate to have family, close friends, local businesses and even complete strangers step forward and help me through some very difficult times. Some offered practical help, some simply listened, and others showed kindness when I needed it most.

Without that support, my life could have taken a very different path.
