In running the 2027 London marathon for JHSG I wanted to take on a meaningful challenge to support this great local charity that do vital work supporting the rehabilitation of post cardiac patients & the management & maintenance of the only island wide AED's network.  Like many people I've recently had close family members with heart issues resulting in major operations & ongoing care.
There needs to be more attention around the prevention of these diseases with simple changes to lifestyle & healthier living, which the charity is openly doing by running regular checkups and events, however this can only be maintained with support, volunteers and continued funding.
