My name's Ralph, and in November I’ll be stepping into the ring to take part in the White Collar Boxing event hosted by Transform Together to raise money for Jersey Hospice.
By day, I work at Aztec (who are very kindly sponsoring me taking part in this event) as a Fund Administrator. Outside of work, I’m a fitness enthusiast who loves pushing myself both physically and mentally. White Collar Boxing felt like the ultimate challenge - one that demands discipline, resilience and heart - and the perfect way to raise money for an incredible cause.
I’ve chosen to dedicate this fight to Jersey Hospice in memory of my friend Alex, who sadly passed away from cancer while receiving care at hospice this year. During an unimaginably difficult time, Jersey Hospice provided Alex - and those closest to him - with compassion, dignity and outstanding support. What they do goes far beyond medical care; they support families and loved ones when it matters most.
This fight is deeply personal to me. Every training session, every early morning run and every round in the ring is driven by the desire to give something back and honour Alex’s memory. Boxing is tough, but it doesn’t come close to the strength shown by those facing life threatening illness and the teams who care for them every day.
By supporting my fundraiser, you’re helping Jersey Hospice continue their vital work in our community, ensuring that others receive the same care, kindness and dignity that meant so much to Alex and his family.
Thank you so much for your support.
