About Diarmid
This year, we are proudly celebrating 173 years since the founding of Victoria College, a place where kindness, respect, and aspiration are at the heart of everything we do. Your donation to the VC Foundation will help fund bursaries, ensuring that aspirational boys from every background can benefit from a Victoria College education.
The money raised during Founders' Week supports the Foundation’s core objectives:
• Widen access to the exciting educational opportunities at Victoria College through the provision of bursaries.
• Advance the development and education of students by offering financial support that enhances their overall experience.
This year, there’s an added element of House competition. Every donation contributes to your House’s total, and the winning House will see their flag flying from the Southern Tower throughout October and be awarded 10 House Points towards winning the Challenge Cup. This all adds to the year-long race to be crowned Best House and School Champions.

Victoria College Foundation
The Foundation was launched in 2002 as part of the 150th Anniversary of the opening of Victoria College.
It was created to support the ever-changing needs of school life and to help sustain the long-held tradition of providing quality education for all. It plays a vital role in fundraising for capital projects that allow the school to continue to expand and enhance its facilities to meet the needs of our boys, the school and education in general. Since December 2020, the Foundation was re-formed as a Jersey limited company and included on the Jersey Charities Register (No 412).
Victoria College strives to create well-rounded, resilient young men who have skills, attitudes and values to be successful individuals who make a positive contribution to society.
The main objectives of the Foundation are to:

Widen access to the education offered by Victoria College, through the provision of bursaries; and
-
Advance the education of students at Victoria College by providing financial support for the enhancement of the educational and developmental experience on offer to its students.
Money raised via alumni events and other fund-raising programmes, such as our Foundation Partner initiative, generates funding to facilitate the Foundation's main objectives.
Your generous donation will widen access to the education offered by Victoria College through the provision of these bursaries.
