About Derek Jolly
My name is Derek Jolly and I’m taking part in this year’s White Collar Darts 2026 competition on Saturday 28th March 2026 at the Jersey Showground from 17:00–23:30.
The charity I have chosen is Cancer Research UK Jersey, which is very dear to my heart. My mum passed away from cancer and only a couple of years ago my dad passed away from cancer too. Cancer didn’t just take my dad, I also lost my best mate and it hit me very hard.
My sister has also been diagnosed with breast cancer and she is getting over it at the moment, which is a great sign!
This is why I’m doing something for this charity, to raise as much money as possible and awareness so that they can beat this horrible disease.
So please wish me luck and I hope I can do all I can for such a great charity as Cancer Research UK Jersey.
